Nope. A combination of things, including TA, Oline, coaching... it all plays in.

There are 128 FBS football programs. That is really bad when you finish 50 spots worse than the number of teams available. Im guessing you read the article wrong. That may have been for all D-I schools which include FBS and FCS.

No...Riley stated he wanted Top 3 in the Big 10. I believe he stated that during spring practice.

I was talking about Riley. I imagine they are combining all divisions of football together there – so no worries. Regardless of the information, they missed their B1G goal B1G time.
