We are going to lose to 17ing Arkansas aren't we? It's just now starting to settle in. F^&%. Guess who the new shittiest team in the SEC West is...

Vegas is giving us 7 points and we are 2-6 this season ATS. One of the worse teams in college football ATS this year.
The same as us, 2-6. We are 0-4 on the road, they are 0-3 at home and 1-1 on neutral field. This is cripple fight of the year in the SEC

If, if, IF we somehow manage to win this game, it will be the result of an Arkie implosion.
They will be much more prepared to win this game than we will be.

Here is the real question though: Are you rooting for us to drop this game? I know it sounds crazy, but doesn't a loss to a terrible Arky team light the fire under John Cohen's *** to do something about Joe? I feel that if we beat Arky and AC then he is back for another year. I could be wrong but I just feel like this game means a lot for Joe's future.
depends on how much faith you have in cohen doing something about 4-8. Unfortunately, i share the sentiment that win or lose, joe is going to be our coach next season...and that thought has taken a good bit of concern for the program out of me. we are seemingly destined to be poor managers of our fate.
Impossible dream outcome: Beat Bama, go 7-5, and fire CJM.
Pretty good outcome: Go 6-6 and fire CJM.
Terrible but could be worse: Go 5-7 and fire CJM.
God awful but at least we can start fresh: Go 4-8 and fire CJM.
Unlikely but hey, stranger things: Go 3-9 and fire CJM.
Keeping CJM makes every one of the possible outcomes an order of magnitude worse than it has to be.

Moveable object, meet stoppable force. Get ready for the worst football game the SECW has seen in years.
I am not going to cheer against us, if I do that what is even the point of being a fan. I think that it is still in the realm of possibility that we win 3 more games and make it to 6-6, at which point this season wouldn't end up being as bad as it seems right now. I am not saying this is happening....I'm just saying it is definitely possible. So I think this game is really crucial....we are basically playing for our season.
that would take the cake, wouldn't it? we'd be the talk for quite a while. beat bama = fired.
I stand by my thought that every possible outcome of the season is made worse by keeping him. Even that. It could be this season's horrible acid reflux talking, though.
