The basis for this loss is the hit his Heisman credibility took as a result of the turnovers, the lack of a Heisman moment and the team loss. From what I've seen he is now considered #5 or #6 in the Heisman field.
Obviously, it impossible to tell how much this loss really cost Dak in the long run but it's kind of crazy that a couple of errant throws cost the guy probably six figures.
