My number was 13. I graduated in December 1969. I had taken and passed the draft physical in the summer of 1969. I was drafted in June of 1970. With such a low number I was surprised that it took that long.
Each county or local draft board had a quota of people they had to provide to the Army each month. If there were enough enlistments to fill or exceed that quota, no one was drafted that month. Enlistments in other services were not included in the quota.
