Now that the official brackets have been released, we can get this thing rolling. Is anyone going to be able to dethrone Master Blaster this year?
The bracket challenge works just like NCAA March Madness Tourney Challenge, as you pick the whole bracket before the playoffs begin and see how it all plays out and this is open for anyone who wishes to play. Games in round 1 will be worth 1 point, and games will be worth double in each round that follows, so round 2 games are worth 2 points, round 3 games are worth 4 points, etc. Remember, in round 4, the East and West cross bracket, where the highest remaining East seed hosts the lowest remaining West seed, and the highest remaining West seed hosts the lowest remaining East seed. Please refer to the brackets listed on vhsl.org.
Get all the brackets in by kickoff of the first game Friday, and no editing after kickoff.
I will post my bracket below, and I would like it if everyone could use this same/similar format, so when I tally up points it will be easier and save me some time. Since Sussex, Riverheads, Colonial Beach, and Central Lunenburg all have a bye in round one, everyone will automatically get 1 point for each of them making it to round 2. I find it easier to keep up with the bracket by listing them in the bracket.
