1A Top 5

2. Radford
3. Riverheads
4. Galax
5. Luray

1A doesn't seem to be as strong as 2A from 1-10, so I'll keep together a top 5 for 1A. I already know one team some may think is in the top 5 that shouldn't be and that is Luray. I am really high on them this year, but one could make the argument for Colonial Beach or someone else for the 5th spot. Any thoughts?

What do you think about Lunenburg at the 5 spot? This site had them listed at #6 preseason and Altavista #3. Lunenburg beat Altavista this week.

Good catch, they are probably most deserving of that 5 spot at this point in time.

Colonial Beach lost on Saturday 35-0 to Avalon. I believe Avalon is out of Maryland and I don't know anything about them honestly.

I would definitely have Lunenburg on there somewhere. I think they may even be deserving of a higher spot than 5. I'd go :
1. Essex
2. Riverheads
3. Radford
4. Central Lunenburg
5. Galax

and then there is Honaker. I'd have them ahead of Luray, actually.

I don't know anything about the Maryland team either. Colonial Beach seems to find a way to get better as the season goes along, but 35-0 isn't a good look. I don't know much about them yet either.

Obguthr... I can see Lunenburg at #4 over Galax because Galax in the preseason poll was #7 behind #6 Lunenburg. Plus Galax fell to 2A Glenvar 20-15. With that being said 2A Glenvar was the preseason #1 pick. For Galax to play them so close, I would even say Galax and Lunenburg could be tied at the #4 spot.
