I am sure there is a logical reason unbeknownst to me as an average fan but the offensive play calling seems defy all basic football logic.... The lack of urgency to get the plays in and then to get the play off is as maddening as the play calling. I ABSOLUTELY HATE the QB check with sideline after getting to the line of scrimmage. I thought tempo was going to be used as a strategy to overcome lack of size and depth on the o-line. Coach Stoops seems let his decision making pendulum swing way to far one way or the other. The "get tough" mantra is getting harder and harder to hear. I also am wondering if Coach Stoops' passion and emotions get in the way of his ability to make in game adjustments. Instead of spending time waving hands and arms around grousing at the officials maybe that energy and though could be channeled into a creative adjustment time to time.
Love the Wildcats but its a frustrating time to be a fan.....
