First quarter almost over. Looks like we’ll have a shoot out. Nebraska is going to wear this defense down and win I think. But GS is owning NU’s defense so far.

We better be able to run the ball and wear them down because the defense is helpless. Gawd let this nightmare end.

Anyone no what Nebraska defense’s record is for most points allowed in a season? I think it is legitimately in danger of being broken this year.

It is interesting isn't it that our three worst coaches post Osborne all ended their careers with a team that fielded historically bad defenses. 2007, 2017, and now 2022. There is a lesson in there somewhere. You need to play defense well in order to be competitive.

Frost is toast. What an awful defense.

At least with Thompson in there, I have a sliver of hope that we could maybe—maybe—come out on top in a shootout.
