It doesn’t prove anyone wrong wining the NIT . It doesn’t prove anyone right either by losing in the first round
Literally not a soul on earth cares about the NIT except maybe the players' mom's.
I went to the 2004(?) NIT games and had a blast at the RAC and MSG.
Maybe it’s changed, but it was awesome at the garden.
You have to admit things were a little different then for our program.

It was a bubble team that played in a top 2 basketball conference.
Seems pretty similar tbh. Other than the whole making the NCAA tournament the last two years thing.
You don’t think Xavier winning the NIT meant nothing to that program?
I'm engaging in some hyperbole. Nobody put the players and fans of the team itself care about who wins the NIT
No one cares. We are above the NIT at this point. We were chasing the tourney in 2004.
