He can still lay claim to the top spot in the class of 2011, but Gilchrist has competition - and from a fellow <font color="#0a4ea3">Kentucky</font> commitment, no less. </p>

Indiana point guard <font color="#0a4ea3">Marquis Teague</font>, who like Gilchrist is committed to UK, checks in at No. 2 and is the top point guard in the country. Power forward <font color="#0a4ea3">James McAdoo</font> (a North Carolina commit) checks in at No. 3 and is still the top player at his position despite missing some time with injury. </p>

Finishing out the top five are physical small forward <font color="#0a4ea3">LeBryan Nash</font> and skilled shooting guard <font color="#0a4ea3">Bradley Beal</font> - who has committed to <font color="#0a4ea3">Florida</font>. </p>

Finally, it's important to note the emergence of four players who went from unranked to five-star status. Chicago big man <font color="#0a4ea3">Anthony Davis</font> was a revelation this spring. Syracuse-bound combo guard <font color="#0a4ea3">Michael Carter-Williams</font>, wing <font color="#0a4ea3">Mycheal Henry</font> (an Illinois commitment) and St. Louis wing <font color="#0a4ea3">Ben McLemore</font> all made major impressions with their play. </p>
