2 Observations

I have two observations after last night's game.

1. I thought that was the most complete game we've played all year. But while the team played great, it doesn't seem there's that one player that is a true vocal leader on the team that really stands up and rallies the troops. Thus, the Kodi saga, Ravern suspension, Bost arguing with the coach, etc. When there's a leadership vacuum, the native's go crazy.

2. Until the SEC/NCAA truly address the inequity/injustice/unfairness/cheating (Free Sidney, Refs changing the outcome), fans will continue to throw stuff on the court, yell/scream, etc. There is really no accountability for the refs or even those over the refs. I'm surprised some ref or official somewhere hasn't gotten seriously beaten up or, God forbid, killed by some fan that let his anger at the injustice, perceived or real, get the best of him.

Just my two cents.

completely agree that throwing bottles is ridiculous, the NCAA (and everyone else) has to realize that when you continuously get **** on, it gets old and people get pissed about it.

I mean, we know going in that our fanbase is filled with morbidly obese fatasses, and yet we hand out one-size-fits-all poly-blend T-shirts for all to don. The constriction just got to some people; e.g., the 70 year old, balding, spitting fatass referred to by Crookapari in his post-game.

ESPN will pretend it was bad, but I'm actually impressed we had maybe a half dozen fans that were dubmasses (how many things were actually thrown? On tv it only looked like a handful).
6 out of >10,000 is a pretty low percentage and I'm pretty sure at any school that cares about basketball, the hose job would have resulted in something as bad or worse. If that happened at an SEC football game (other than with holding b/c refs can ignore or pull up phantom holding calls at will), there would be rioting and people would get hurt.

two cups seems pretty restrained compared to what I've seen elsewhere, not to mention the verbal abuse I've heard in other places.
