Just found out we aren't going to be able to make the Egg Bowl this year and I really want to get my son to a game.
I know i'm behind the 8 ball on this one, but i gotta ask

I just went to Stubhub and looked to see what they are running for.. and there is none. The tickets that were selling for 175 and 200 bucks A SEAT are sold.

if you don't buy before kickoff. scalpers have no reason to hold on to extra tickets once the game starts. they'll take the money you'll give them. you just have to be willing to wait until kickoff.

best case scenario - hanging out by the ticket office, you'll sometimes stumble across an msu fan who'll sell you the tickets at face value (assuming you're wearing msu gear).

I don't think Stubhub will allow tickets to be sold for an event past a certain date because they can't guarantee their arrival.

Look at Ole Miss, Arkansas, etc. Surely every ticket for every event this Saturday isn't sold.

You will be able to get tickets at the game no problem. You can buy from a scalper and get a decent enough deal. People were buying ticks for like $40 at the FL game. This game might be a little more, but shouldn't be to unreasonable.

Never buy ticks on Stubhub... people overprice them on there for the Bear Bryant Loyal's who will actually pay that much.

If you get to the stadium 2 hours before kick off and bide your time you will eventually run across another MSU fan that is trying to get rid of 2 tix. They will sell them to you at (or very nearly at) face value and be happy that the tickets are going to a state fan and not a bama fan. I've done this for a few games this year, works great, and you don't have to wait til kickoff.
