Gets you fired from CCU after 3 seasons.

Let that marinate for a little bit.

Not the SEC, but granted, you play the games you're scheduled to play. They took a giant step backwards and they expect to win in their conference. Either 1) we don't expect to win in our conference or 2 ) our admin is incompetent in how they reward our coach(es).

If we paid Beamer between $2-$3 million, I would care a lot less if we were 4-8.

Beamer needs to be fired. It's that simple.

Everyone knows next season won't be any better with a brand new QB - or a returning Sellers at QB that made zero improvements in his game this season.

And everyone knows Beamers talk of making the playoffs next season is pure fantasy / desperation. It's so blatantly obvious. The fall of Beamer next season will be epic and sad. He'll be gone and we'll still be the laughing stock of college football. - Not to mention the new AD will have lost all credibility at that point as well. - It's official, we're in shambles. No need to wait. Start cleaning up the mess now. Tomorrow.

Donati needs to renegotiate Beamers contract now. Reduce his salary, make it incentive based, and reduce his buyout. If Beamer really believes the s@#& he’s selling, he shouldn’t have a problem with it.

And if he doesn't like it, show him the door. He won't even get an interview for a coordinator position... He'll end up at VT as an "analyst."

I have lost all faith in Donati. He pulled a total Tanner move by declaring confidence in Beamer and saying he would return next year prior to the Clemson game. Perhaps it was a move solely designed to fire up the troops before the big game, which is, again, something so Tanner. If that was his goal, it failed spectacularly.

Alternatively, he really does just believe in Beamer.

I don't know which is worse.

Remember in the good ol days when the vote of confidence meant a firing about 3 weeks later?

Regarding which one is worse- the answer is yes.

The salary increases from the initial $2.75mill to 6, and now +$8mill were the height of foolishness!! This years results weren't really worth the initial $2.75, yet here we are, paying north of $8mill for it.

The ridiculous thing about the raises was that there was absolutely no one remotely coming after Beamer when he got those raises.

This is exactly the problem. The raise should have been after year 5. Not every year you have a winning season. It's so stupid and out of touch.
