Could have been better but we rarely get any preseason love, and they could have kicked us further down the line because we've rarely followed up decent seasons with equal or better seasons. Hopefully it is enough to drive them to play that much harder, but not too high for them to get complacent. Although I dont think Mullen will allow this mindset to creep in. I think its a perfect ranking to make some early noise and possibly springboard into a great seson. Could also unravel like the last time we were preseason top #25.
Mullen will use this as motivation in some way. Ready to get cranked up now.
A more broad look, shows 32% of the teams in the top 25 are from the SEC. Crazy that Georgia and Florida slipped in also.
