2009 SixPack Open

We've got 12 signed up for the tennis tournament. I've got 3 courts reserved for us for 4:30 Sunday afternoon at Ridgeland Tennis Center. We'll play one recreational match of tennis and then adjourn to Alumni House for beer and burgers. I have all of your cell numbers and will text you if we have to cancel because of weather. You should also have my cell number so call me if anything comes up or if you have any questions. Court assignemnts are as follows (players on each court will just decide who's playing with who when we get there):

So far the response has been pretty good. Just to clarify a couple of things, we'll be playing just one match and it's strictly for fun. No sense knocking ourselves out out there. Also, MrMeoff has made the excellent suggestion that we all go out for beer and burgers afterwards. So, after the tennis is over we will adjourn to either Alumni House (if we play at Ridgeland Tennis Center) or the Cherokee (if we play at Parham Bridges). So far, the following have signed up:

I can tell you that cdbrist and son (that would be me) lost to Bigbully and son in an exciting 3rd set tie breaker. I don't mind telling you that Bigbully's son was a 7th grader and possibly the best player on any of the 3 courts. He is gonna be a good one. Great fun and congrats to the Bigbully's.

I'd say we squeaked out a very tough 2-1/2 hour match that could have easily gone the other way. Seriously, I'm pretty wiped out this morning. Probably the best part of the day for you was getting that e-mail from btshaw4 after we all left the Alumni House though.

I entertained thoughts of playing up to 4.0 next year. Those thoughts are gone.

We had a great time. Thanks to my son for carrying our team. I have finally resolved the fact that he can now officially kick my *** in tennis. Thanks cdbrist and cdbrist jr for the match .. it was a lot of fun. BB

Just was a little hot yesterday. We had a pretty good match on our court, fun tennis... I enjoyed the tennis and good times...

The real question is did Patdog get Amber's digits?

From the conversation I heard I would say he already had those digits. Sounded like there was a lot of history between those two.

of 3 vs. 3 where you played with 2 in the back and 1 at the net in the middle. It was very fast paced and the one rule if you were the net man was never, ever look back. You're going to get hit and you definitely want to get hit in the *** rather than get hit in the face.

I hope Amber has a better hair stylist for her lower body than she does for her head. That was one messed up head of hair. Mr Meoff should now be referred to as Dirk Diggler until further notice.

If it is the waitress I am thinking of at AH, has dirty blonde hair with glasses, she hails from the, you guessed it, "Red Carpet", VHS class of '00.
