2010 BB recruiting!!!

Just checked out rivals and scout for the first time in a while for next years BB class. We have not 1 commit and are obviously ranked #12 in SEC in class ranking. WTF is going on with our recruiting?

We only have one scholly for next year and there was some talk of us not signing anyone this year...

Bryan Bryant may be all we sign in this class.

For the record, he is listed on our commit list by Rivals so I'm not sure what you are looking at.

with Barry Stewart and Jarvis, and Jarvis is a walk-on , so we really only have one scholly to give . You have to think though if we have a chance to sign someone big we could run someone off (Twany Beckham , Elgin Bailey, Shanussey Smith if they all cant get healthy?)</p>

Since we really only have one scholarship to give, I would imagine Stansbury is being pretty selective with it. If Beckham can come back and be half way worth a crap giving Bost a break then all we need is another big body inside. I could see us getting a JUCO bruiser to fill that spot.</p>

I think we'll see a little attrition this year. Big shock, right?

Twanny - I think he will leave on good terms because Dee is his age, Bryant can play the point too, and Deville Smith will be coming in fall 2011. Perhaps the scenario that plays out though is that Twanny takes over at the point, Dee slides to the 2, and Bryant backs them both up.
Sidney - unfortunately I have to think he will not be here next year
Riek - I am not sure he will be back either. Just a hunch.

So I think we find two more somewhere and maybe hold another for 2011. Maybe Stans con convince Ricardo Ratliffe from Ocala JC to come. We appear to have many minutes in the post for the taking in 2011.

dee is the unquestioned point till he leaves

i agree all we really need next year is a big body, juco or highschool, and wait for the 2011 class. if reik develops at all we should still be pretty decent next year with a bost, turner, ravern, augustus, baily/riek starting five with twanny (if he's still here), shaunesee smith, benock, osby, and lewis coming off the bench.
