2010 MSU Baseball Roster

I didn't see it mentioned, but assuming Powers, Whitney, Duffy, and J. Butler (i know) go in the draft, we still have 11 players saying they're coming back for sure, including Cody Freeman. I'm thinking only Powers actually leaves in the draft, so that's 14.

I assume some are going to compete for their roster spot next fall and try to make the team.

I think what Cohen is doing is pretty smart. Let's say that a guy like Caleb Reed goes out and improves a lot. Cohen would look pretty dumb if he goes out and cuts him and then he goes to another school and does well.

He's giving the current guys more time and a chance to improve, which if you ask me is very fair.

is alive and well. Mullen and Cohen doing a dandy job in that department it appears. And Byrne has raised the bar. At that I am enjoying MSU athletics and just hoping the results on the fields are teams that produce more Ws than not..
