For those of you who have mentioned the obvious need to sign OLs next year, here's a name to add to the list. Apparently his dad played at State but it doesn't appear we've offered yet. It looks like he'll be highly recruited.

I'm not going to hold my breath and expect to pull him out of TX with all of those early offers but he's apparently very legit. I'm excited about the few instate offers to O-linemen we've got out there now. The video on Wes Rea out of Harrison Central is impressive....that kid pretty much pancakes everybody (albeit its on his highlight reel). Damien Robinson is a beast as well, he was pushing those kids from Pahokee, FL all over the field in his video. If we can sign two between Rea, Robinson and Hurst I would be happy. I'm in agreement with ya'll though in thinking that we need to sign as many lineman as we did WR's this year.

This is his baseball stat line from over on Swan Lake. How'd you like to have to dig in against a HS pitcher that goes 6'5 and 290? Kids a good athlete.

"As a sophomore 1st baseman Rea hit .419 with 8 home runs and 42 RBI. He turned in an impressive 5-1 pitching record to go along with a razor thin 1.55 ERA."</p>

.....played at MSU likely means there's a great chance he'll sign...................with someone else.

Yes, 1.55 is strong, but "razor thin?"

but not what I would consider "razor thin" for a D-I prospect who is a pitcher.

Kirk Presley in 1993 was razor thin- 0.39

I expect all of our signees who are pitchers to have an ERA below 2.00 their senior season. Anything above that, they are probably a project.
