Pretty sure this is all hogwash. Rumors. I read last week in an article on CJ Johnson on Rivals about him. I'll try to find it. One sec...

Still going after Taurice King and Michael Carlisle, so I wonder if he is concerned about the amount of competition there might be.

seriously, though, this can't be a good thing. i doubt it has anything to do with newton - johnson is probably just realizing how big of a game he can play with the recruiting process and doesn't want to miss the hoopla. i wouldn't want to miss out on that fun either.
quoted as saying that he hasn't spoken to the MSU coaches since Thanksgiving and that he is being told by a lot of folks that he committed way too early and that he was going to call Coach Hud and discuss the situation with him........
he has tremendous potential but unless he get his act together off the field he will never amount to anything other than an also ran.....and that is a fact. Noone who really knows anything about him ever believed he would attend MSU. Frankly, I hope he goes elsewhere.
