I hear people predicting gloom and doom on the offensive line because we lost two starters and have <span style="font-style: italic;">only four</span> guys who have started games coming back.
Yes, we will not have the SEC's best left tackle, but the other four guys we have back have
One year's more experience - and will be in the third year under Hevesy and
One more year of strength and conditioning.
So our line has a chance to be better than last year at every position other than left tackle. While this the most important position on the line, if we are adequate there we will have a great line. Also, because the redshirts are off, I anticipate a lot more guys playing on the line this year.
By the end of the year we could be better than at the end of last year. Of course, that means that this time next year everyone will be panicking about the loss of Saulsberry, Lawrence and maybe Carmon.
