but I can't even describe how happy I am that our current administration understands that it is much more important to go to a bowl game as opposed to playing a flashy out of conference schedule. We've been in that toughest strength of schedule spot before, and it did absolutely nothing for us.

Almost the whole Croom error and Dan's first year we had a top schedule. I don't miss sitting at home during bowl season at all.

So as a State fan, do you cheer for Texas to lose after they beat Ole Miss? Does your focus really go that deep?<div>
</div><div>Also, they don't play Mizzou, so them sumbitches are going 12-0.</div>

Obviously, as a State fan, I will cheer for Texas. It obviously puts a big hurt on Ole Miss' odds of going to bowl games. As an MSU fan, a continued run of MSU Bowl games while Ole Miss sits at home is good for our program. But I guess you're implying an MSU fan would cheer for Texas to lose all their games except for Ole Miss to hurt Ole Miss' strength of schedule??? What does that matter? The ONLY time SEC schedule matters is for the National Title game and BCS At Large bids. Since there is relatively ZERO chance for Ole Miss to be in consideration for either of those, I couldn't care less about Texas' record and Ole Miss' strength of schedule.

Every year, therefore creating less douchey bow tie wearing fans, I'm happy. I couldn't care less how ****** the opponents you lose to are.

Agreed. When bowl selection is determined at the discretion of committees based on schools' popularity and # of fans/ticket sales, all that matters is bowl eligibility. It's funny, that tool Pennington from Mr SEC continues to rail on Stricklin for cupcake scheduling, yet how much *** did the press kiss when Rich Brooks built a bowl streak doing the same thing? Because it was poor ol Kentucky football, it was great. Our focus solely needs to be on improving our SEC record. Let's consistently start posting 4-4s and 5-3s, then maybe we can start getting a little cute with our OOC games.

moron. Personally, I'll take playing football after November instead of bragging about sitting at home with the hardest schedule in football.
