I'm pissed off about us haviing to go to Little Rock again

That schedule is awful. I don't think anyone could do that by sheer coincidence either. 17 LT.

Here's how he probably thinks our schedule should go:

At Florida State
At Oregon
LSU (Home game moved to Hammond)
At Auburn
Boise State (Homecoming)
At Florida
At Texas A&M
Georgia (Home game moved to Columbus, Ga)
Texas (Home game moved to Oxford)
Alabama (Home game moved to Birmingham)
At Arkansas in Little Rock
Ole Miss (Home game moved to Batesville)

Where was it said that we were going to have Vandy next year? Was that set in stone?

The schedule is what it is. We play in the SEC, get over it. If we can't get 6 wins then so be it.

It was known enough in our athletic department for them to agree to the OK State game under the premise that our schedule wouldn't be as tough as it turned out to be. Our athletic department made the decision to play OK State because they were told that we'd be playing Vandy and UK. Our athletic department was mis-led by the SEC office.

IF we insist on scheduling a FCS team, then by all means I think it should be one of the instate SWAC teams. Why give some out-of-state shmuck several hundred thousand when we could give it to one of the universities in Mississippi? Now, whether we should continue on the one-game-a-year-FCS opponent is up for debate, I guess.

If Arky wants to keep playing us in that Little Rock ********, we should reciprocate by making them play in our Jackson ********. And let that be the ONLY home game we even consider playing in Jackson.

Yeah. That would show them. Move a home game off campus that would have no effect at all on them. Seriously, who gives a **** where Arkansas wants to play us when it's their home game?

Not suggesting it would have any effect on their team at all, and I wouldn't

actually want to move any home game off campus. Just don't understand why they would want to play any of their home games off-campus either, especially in that dump. By far the worst venue in the SEC.

Arkie is under some "obligation" to play in Little Rock... They probably do what a lot of programs do and play OOC and the smaller SEC draws at their 2nd stadium.

Ole Miss somehow managed to get the last half of the season before the Egg Bowl as all home games and bye weeks. How the heck?

Maybe because the first half of their season is loaded with road games, maybe?

THE HELL WITH PLAYING IN JACKSON. YOU PEOPLE WHO WANT TO PLAY IN JACKSON JUST DON'T WANT TO TRAVEL TO STARKVILLE. I HAVE TO TRAVEL 4 HOURS ONE WAY TO SEE A GAME IN STARKVILLE. IF I CAN DO THAT THEN YOU CRYBABIES CAN TRAVEL A COUPLE OF HOURS TO GO SEE THEM IN STARKVILLE TOO.
