Last week we honored the 1999 and 1974 teams. We could probably have debate at to which team accomplished more between the three.

Maybe because this team was the first #1 team in school history and the first ever team to hold the #1 spot in the College Football Playoff rankings. Yeah they choked at the end of the season but they did something no other team in school history did in reaching #1

The Cowboys have an open date the same weekend as the a&m game, so if Dak's going to be present then that's probably the best bet, not to mention it was the a&m game in 2014 that was the springboard.

That team was very exciting at the first of the season. The players deserve a lot of credit. They gave us their best throughout the season. I doubt they could have beaten OM that year...

But if Mullen and his asst coaches hadn't already checked out, there is no doubt they could have beaten Bama and GT.
