2015 Baseball HOF

With today being the induction day for the Baseball Hall of Fame Class of 2014, I ask: who do yall think gets in next year?

The top first-year guys: Randy Johnson, Pedro, Smoltz, Sheffield, Nomar, and Carlos Delgado

Returning to the ballot (ranked by last voting%): Biggio, Piazza, Bagwell, Raines, Clemens, Bonds, Lee Smith, Schilling, Edgar Martinez, Trammell, Mussina, Kent, McGriff, McGwire, Larry Walker, Mattingly, and Sosa

Here's my ballot for 2015:
Johnson (in), Pedro (in), Smoltz (in), Biggio (in), Bonds, Clemens, Schilling, Piazza, Bagwell, and Mussina

No way the voters put in that many. Johnson, Pedro, Biggio. Maybe Piazza and Smoltz

A ballot holds a maximum of 10. Obviously 10 guys aren't going to get inducted, but those are the guys I would put on my ballot. I think 4 go in next year: Johnson, Pedro, Smoltz, and Biggio. I don't see how Smoltz is a "maybe" at all. All four of those guys are locks, with Biggio being the shakiest of all and he only missed by .2% last year

I put Smoltz as a maybe because the writers always come up with some stupid excuse to not induct a no brainer.

Johnson, Pedro, and Smoltz are no-brainers to me. I think Biggio and Piazza get in. I thinik the steroid guys get left off again, but it's a matter of time before they start voting for them in large enough numbers. I'd love for Mattingly to get in, he was my favorite player growing up, but I doubt he will.

Agreed. I'm ready for the older crop of writers to be done voting. The fact that Bonds and Clemens weren't first-ballot guys is ludicrous, but these older writers (who made a good living covering the Steroid Era) feel it's their duty to protect the "integrity of the game," all while there are guys already in the Hall with more serious moral issues than taking some drug

Until they start putting in people who deserve to be , like Bonds I don't pay much attention. The writers have too much power.
