Interesting Montini Girls Basketball team ranked #1 in state in the Trib pre-season polls.

Montini 7x State Wrestling champs ranked #4 in the Illinois Matmen preseason polls.Today guest Yair Pantera Rodriguez (UFC) was leading the Bronco's in warmups.

Both teams competing in the top class in the state this year with the "success factor"

#67 DT Jaleel Johnson will be playing for Iowa tonight in the Big 10 Championship game!

Also, #44 Ben Niemann from Sycamore plays linebacker for Iowa. We saw him play against Montini in the playoffs a couple of years ago. Although I think he may be injured.
