Only one of your images is working. Did you make these?

Those are the Colts' unis in red & very similar to Wisconsin's unis. Need black & grey/silver in them & use the current sword # font & sword stripe down the leg.

Keep the silver battlescarred helmets as the primary helmet & use the white helmets like we do now.

These look like just concepts, nothing official right? The numbers aren't our traditional athletics font, just generic Alabama college numbers, and the one thing that's us - the block R - isn't even correct, it's in all weird proportions which makes me think it was made by some outside person.

I like the look. Anything that's got real scarlet (not salmon) and readable numbers would be a VAST improvement over the current unis!

Those are awesome tops and bottoms. Any helmet is fine with me, including the ones we wear now, or all red for that matter.

Was there a press release announcing these?

what are you, a fine arts major? If they're not "salmon" then they're "salmon-esque"

It's all about what colors are adjacent / in contrast. With the limited contrast offered by the monochromatic color scheme and silver numerals, the red does APPEAR to have a salmonesque tint. BUT, take a look at a player in our current Red unis who is sitting or standing on the block R at mid-field, or in the end zone. The uniform color matches the red elements on the field perfectly. It's the exact same color. Pair the current Red Jersey with white pants and you would probably nor believe it's the same jersey.

Was not expecting such a scientific explanation for the salmonesque appearance of our jersey's, but there you have it! I agree with this. It's those damn silver numbers that you can't see that is ruining everything!!

I've never seen a team introduce new uniforms until the offseason leading into the season where the new threads would be making their debut. So I doubt this is anything official.

How did the OP get the pictures of the new uniforms?

In the 1970s, we had powder grey pants, a little lighter than what Ohio state wears now.

I notice the in the old uniforms pics the helmet had a black stripe down the middle. So why don't we do this...

The OP's uniform concept but with cool grey pants instead of white and red helmets with BLACK sword striping like now with white Block R on side with heavier black outline? Give a nod to the 60's & 70's uniforms AND keep the sword striping on helmet which is unique to Rutgers in the sport today.
