I'd like to see a breakdown of all our commits since Stoops took over and how many were brought on by Marrow. And he ain't signing scrubs either. He's getting higher rated kids on board. I'd say of all the kids signed during Stiops time here Marrow has signed the most and higher rated kids and it's probably not that close.
Marrow is an elite recruiter. Imagine the success he would have if Kentucky started winning bowls.
That's a lot of good football players. Glad we could keep him from Michigan. He would be dangerous up there.
I have said many times- UK needs to pay whatever it takes to keep Marrow on the staff. He is that important.
Marrow already said once we start winning he'll start going after the Ohio State type guys and try to work his magic!!!!
Who is #1, hurtt or Strong? I thought hurtt was the greatest while he was at the U and Transfer U, won the NROTY at both places (everyone knows how he did it at the U, how did he do it a thousand miles away from the beaches------Ohio River beaches?) but then as soon as the truth started coming out ESPN forgot his name and Strong became responsible for all the great recruiting at City College.
Hopefully someone figures it all out before the NCAA does, but then that could take decades.

Marrow is amazing and has been great with Stoops. I think he truly believes in what he is marketing. No doubt that Urban Meyer sighed relief when Marrow stayed at UK. I am sure he does not want to see Stoops succeed on the field. Neither does Dantoni or Harbaugh.
but the problem is Vince is doing all the lifting. out of the top 250, John Schlarman is the only other UK coach on the list, all the way down at 177, 9 spots behind Andy Buh, and 34 spots behind some guy name Craig Naivar. We need to hire someone that can recruit, and has ties to the east coast (MD,DC, VA, PA, ....)
On the other hand he isn't leaving very many openings, is he? Half the classes from Ohio and then the top ones from UK and how many are left?
If Kentucky starts winning, it will be interesting to see how many high level recruits he can pull out of Ohio that have committable OSU offers.
