I really don’t know what to make of East this year. I was all in after they beat Batavia and when they lost to WN, I began to question. They’ll need mistake free consistency and to play at full throttle for four quarters to beat MS.

As for @MS4EVER, his swagger won’t intimidate me . I heard he’s just a teddy bear.

Maine South is always the hardest team for me to get a read on. Hard to know how they progress through the season. Reality is Maine South has one quality win this season (Fremd and I'm not even sure how good they are.) I watched their game against GBS this year and believe it was the worst MS performance i've seen this year.

East has 3 or 4 quality wins (Wheaton South, Batavia, Lemont, St. Charles North).

That said, Maine south has experience and is much more talented on paper. (East will have the best player on the field and MS will probably have the next 4-5 best players and MUCH more depth).

I'd say Fremd is decent, but they struggle on their line play. MS took it too Fremd besides Fremd's opening play TD. They also won with their third string(?) Qb I believe.

Moot point now with Loyola losing. SCE should be away at Edwardsville now. Looks like MS will get Loyola. Can't see them moving on
