It is kind of surprising that Coal City is a unanimous selection for #1 in 4A but Lena-Winslow is not a unanimous selection in 1A.

I would like to point out that JCA is not ranked in 5A (listed as others) and seeded #9 in the south (which is equivalent to #17-18 by the the IHSA). So, if the formidable teams could take it easy on the young JCA team it would be appreciated.

further proof that the AP rankings are wrong and pointless. i value the edgy rankings over any others.
