When I watch other college games, I see bad tackling and poor angles, but only in spots. Every player we have tackles high, seems afraid of contact or tries to should the ball carrier to the ground. Look at Alabama's running back trucking Barnes for evidence. Yes he had a full head of steam, but Barnes came in with his should using mostly his upper body. Set himself up for failure. Bolton and Murray are serial offenders of high tackling. Murray isn't small. He should be stopping most in their tracks but high tackling removes his physical advantage.
