It's time for Redmond, Perkins, Tatum and Thompson to make their mark. The Dline will have some very talented young guys.

When I watch other college games, I see bad tackling and poor angles, but only in spots. Every player we have tackles high, seems afraid of contact or tries to should the ball carrier to the ground. Look at Alabama's running back trucking Barnes for evidence. Yes he had a full head of steam, but Barnes came in with his should using mostly his upper body. Set himself up for failure. Bolton and Murray are serial offenders of high tackling. Murray isn't small. He should be stopping most in their tracks but high tackling removes his physical advantage.

I'll say that these targeting rules really scare and handcuff defensive players. I know the motto is, "I don't care about anything but winning," but in reality most players don't care about anything except playing.

I don’t want MS but I want someone and the quicker the better.....

Bama loses its OC and play caller and that guy is good....maybe we can catch up ....
Not sure why you think people won't like what you have laid out.
I don't see anyone espousing the Great Ruffin McNeil as the defensive savior for OU. WHo cares if ti got worse or better with Mike gone. Mike set a bar pretty low. Just under or just over, I don't think anyone was expecting to hold Bama to 250 Yards and 23 points.
Mike is gone and it is impossible to hire a quality Coordinator in the middle of the season.
