On Hold (IHSA suspension of summer contact days)
NA
Impact Player for McHenry: Senior LB Paul Zunkel. Zunkel, who was an honorable All Area and all conference selection in 2019 for the Warriors will again be asked to provide leadership and lead the Warriors experienced defense this fall.
EDGY's Quick Take on the McHenry Warriors: The Warriors (3-6) have been just hovering around the 3-6/2-7 mark over the past few seasons, yet could 2020 see a potential breakout? McHenry and head coach Jon Niemic brings back experience on both sides of the football, including 7 starters back on an offense that simply struggled in 2019. Playing in the always tough Fox Valley is a battle and look towards the early part of the schedule (Huntley/@ DC/@ Burlington Central)and getting out to a decent early start as keys for the 2020 Warriors this fall.
