Watford-Norwich City today at 3, USA network.
Since Josh Sargent and his wife just had their first child born, hopefully that galvanizes him a little bit and he can find himself on the scoresheet today.

Since Josh Sargent, #24 for Norwich City, and his wife just had their first child born, hopefully that galvanizes him a little bit and he can find himself on the scoresheet today.
Fixed it for everyone. Expect a hard-fought match, as this is 17th-place (W) v. 18th-place (NC). (Relegation is 18-19-20.) Watford has two matches in hand over NC, so one would think that this is a crucial match for Norwich City.

Norwich 3, Watford 0, in the 92nd minute. 15 minutes of stoppage time due to a flood light issue. Watford also down a man (red card at 78 minutes).

A Watford own goal a moment ago made it 3-0.

Watford 0-3 Norwich City. Sargent with two goals, his first EPL goals, the first was spectacular. A fine match, very enjoyable.

I wasn't sufficiently clear. Norwich City is now in 17th place with 16 points, and Watford is 18th with 14 points.

Ah, why list garbage-game stuff!

Didn't Liverpool play a REAL soccer game today??

Who won anyway???

Leeds 0-1 Newcastle United at 81’. Both teams pushing too hard, a lot of sloppy play.

Leeds 0-1 Newcastle, final. A bad match, boring and sloppy, no finesse.

Liverpool goes up 3-1 on a controversial penalty kick. I don’t think they got the call right after VAR. That should not have been a penalty kick.

Dang, that was perfect.

pretty much. to get a better appreciation of just how perfectly it was placed, watched the GK in the video.

FWIW, I blame the D on a shot like that. You can not allow a Premier League guy to shoot from just outside the 18 without challenging them/limiting their options. But that takes nothing away from an amazing shot.

Yeah, I hopped off the fence with regards to soccer after watching Diego Forlan in the 2010 WC. He took advantage of a lot of substandard D in that tournament, you’ll recall. But he was thrilling to watch.

I find it mystifying that you get so bent out of shape about this. It's much easier to read the stuff you post on its original site. Twitter has a 280 character maximum, so length isn't an issue. When someone insists on posting a long article instead of providing a link, it just clutters up the thread.

I cannot understand why you find this distasteful.

It is informative; length is relatively unimportant when one considers it IS newsworthy regarding a match and a sport we love.

It does not clutter up the thread not one IOTA!

It simply bothers you. Let it be Jim.

It also saves a reader from having to go another step and click on the link which sometimes may not be working. No harm in that sir respectfully.
