Messi to Miami MLS. He’d still be fun to watch. I used to go to Washington Diplomat matches at RFK Stadium while Cryuff was there. He was only 32-33 at the time and he was still the most skilled player on the field. Lol, my buddies and I would walk around the empty upper deck passing around a joint, good times.

I've gone to 1-2 matches a year in Orlando for years now so I scooped up tickets early yesterday as the news broke for the 9/24 match for $50 each. They are already going for close to 600 in my section. That is pretty absurd, but the impact of Messi will be crazy. Beckham getting in early on that Miami ownership just paid off yesterday I imagine.

I’m too lazy to find the Champions League thread but how Lukaku managed to not score at 88’ is a question for the ages.

They had a couple of really good scoring chances in that game. I really thought the match deserved to go to extra time. A great season nonetheless for Man City.
It was just an accident that Man City didn’t win the CL last year. Yeah, one of the best seasons I’ve seen.

I’m not ready to let go of the Premier League until next season.

Is anyone going to any of the Summer Series matches? My wife and I are going to Brighton v. Newcastle United in Harrison, NJ on July 28th.
I’m going to the doubleheader at the Linc on 7/23 (I think that’s the date). Looking forward to watching a Champions League club like Newcastle United.

I miss Glov and wish I could pick on him right now that Liverpool finished behind Newcastle. Oh well. Hopefully he knows.
