As an old Hoya, I’m curious as to whether or not Mac McClung sticks. (The contract he just signed might necessitate his going to the G League, not sure.) FWIW, when GSW let him go Kerr made a point of saying that McClung was a good talent but not the pass-first PG they needed. His size means his position has to be 1, he can’t play 2. He’s an okay defender, plays hard. His 3-point shooting is nothing spectacular, but that’s something a hard worker will improve on. If the Sixers keep him, bet now to have him win the Slam Dunk Championship at the ASG.
