I never knew how much Greg hates Girardi. I'm starting to join him though.

The ump blew the call but if an MLB team commits four errors in a game they should be forced to take the loss anyway.

Looking at their hitting stats makes one wonder. Here‘s hoping it sooner or later turns into wins.

So far in La La, the types of games you expected this year. It’s very difficult to play like this. I’m really happy for Bohm so far. He’s a big piece to them being good and they desperately need one of their younger cheaper players to work out given the potential what ifs with Hoskins moving forward. This is normally the time that Schwaber gets it going given he’s a slow starter, they need him. The Harper Nick combo just punishes people. If they can win the series in LA that is huge. It’s difficult watching the arms go up in flames again, no lead is safe.

After Friday's win, we're 4-1 on this road trip. I was really concerned that we'd come out of this trip 2 - 5 or maybe even 1 - 6. Instead we've clinched a winning road trip and no worse than a four game split in Chavez Ravine. Just when I was ready to free up the rest of my summer, they pulled me back in.

Phils had the sweep in their sights, and gave it away with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th to the Dodgers. smh

No complaints about a 5-2 road trip but giving away that final game sucks. Apparently the bullpen couldn't leave the west coast without reminding us they suck too.

It’s a 162 game gig. So if I said to you last Wednesday, sign this form and the Phil’s will take 3 out of 4 in LA, would you have signed the form? No matter what happened today, they took 3 of 4 when most Phillies fans would have given a testicle for a split.

This game shows important Bryce Harper is to this team. If he plays today we probably win. We left the bases loaded at least twice today.

Strong reminders came earlier in the series. Fortunate Phils did not lose 3 of 4 due to bullpen meltdowns.

Yes, but yesterday was a deflating reminder of reality, though.
No arguments there. So freaking close which is frustrating for sure. Let's see if they can keep the winning series streak going this week.

Why was Castellanos playing so far off the right field line with a left handed batter up?
