Wheeler is pitching a gem. Other than the HR to Soto, he's got the Padres totally baffled.

Wheeler’s main enemy at the moment may be the weather radar. Some heavier precip is moving across South Jersey and heading for South Philly.

It’s the first time the manager’s decision-making has hurt the Phillies, in my opinion. Bad timing.

Two wild pitches by Seranthony allow a runner to go to 3rd, and then to come home.

Middle of the 7th, 3-2, Padres. smh

How are they letting them play right now with it pouring rain? Dangerous, a pitcher could blow out a knee.

Gotta believe that the weather contributed to the three wild pitches that helped two runs score. Let’s see San Diego deal with the rain now in the bottom on the 7th before any delays.

It seems that the rain has eased up for the bottom of the 7th. Oh well.

Stott leads off the bottom of the 7th with a double, and that's it for Darvish

Whoever schedules for MLB or if they just allow the networks to do the schedules should be fired. Having no travel day from Philly to SD and forcing this to be played in slop without a delay is stupid and insane!

JT lead off the bottom of the 8th with a single, and Harper takes a 2-2 pitch to LF for a 2-run HR.

4-3, Phils, with no outs in the bottom of the 8th.

Robertson gets a K to start the top of the 9th, but then two walks.

Phils are taking him out and bringing in Ranger Suarez.

I don’t follow baseball much anymore, but you folks got me to check in on this game on espn.com. So the Phillies were only 87-75 in the regular season. You guys deserve better.
