Can anyone who attended the game comment on how the team looked and which of the players seemed to be the leaders of this squad? I know it’s a small sample, but should we be encouraged? Thanks

My 1st time watching the ladies this season. Several transfers into the program in the offseason, and they are players. Kash Williams at OH is quite a hitter and scorer.

Nice job PSU against Stanford.

The Lady Lions looked good, especially bouncing back from a poorly played 3rd set. They closed out the 5th set in strong fashion. The transfers give them some thumpers up front, although it will be interesting to see if Weatherington has stamina issues. Gutsy move by coach to insert Menger in to serve at 8-8 in 5th set for the first time all night. Coach Rose would make similar moves, but he had 40+ years of experience to fall back on.

Looks like it will be a fun team to watch.

It's really great to see the number of BLOCKS. Hopefully that is a trademark this year. (Take's me back to the Katie Slay era.) The hitting wasn't going to do it, but between blocks and aces, they bested the better hitting Stanford.

That Block was for the Match by Kashauna Williams and Allie Holland. Great blocking effort against two top teams is very encouraging. Super start for the Lady Lions.
