Why couldn’t they just change it around to at Purdue on November 12 and Wisconsin a home game on November 5..

Why the hell did they change the whole schedule around when it wasn’t necessary..😡

changes impacted every team, not just us. oh, and also, it's the B1G, so, obviously they're going to move mountains to accommodate mole hills.

You realize they changed the schedules for all 14 teams right? Scheduling conflicts are bound to happen, could be a concert, or whatever that was in place based on the previous schedule. Not everything is done in the Nebraska vacuum

should be 7-1 and bowl bound heading into November.
Yep, I don't really mind a schedule that is back loaded. This team needs confidence and if it can't build some momentum early Frost is done.

Seems like a pretty good set up for him. Start strong and even split the end of the season and a lot of people will be happy.

If I learned anything from social media, Frost could lose each game and defecate on fans' lawns and a staggering number of them would still be "happy" 🤔

Does Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..

we have won zero games following bye weeks during Frost's tenure, so, no, it doesn't matter

last 4 years following a bye:

2018 - L @ home vs colorado
2019 - L @ home to indiana, L @ home vs wisconsin
2020 - L @ wisconsin
2021 - L @ home vs purdue, L @ wisconsin

that is an astounding 0-6 following a bye week for Frost, including 0-4 at home

You are just setting up the excuses.

edit - and no Michigan is at Rutgers the week before hosting Nebraska.

True but we have a new staff changes too..

Can’t tell me it isn’t a big deal getting 2 byes before arguably our 2 toughest games..

F the B10...is it major? Probably not but this new 'tweak' only hurts us. Bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin was key....also that last 3 games stretch is insanity. Cold weather, tough grinding teams, 2 on the road. I hate the new schedule

we've had a bye prior to playing wisconsin 3 years in a row (0-3)

couldn't possibly be worse having a game the week before this year

Man, the BIG 10 really plays no one of of conference next year outside of OSU, PSU and NU. Some pretty sad schedules.
very typical for the B1G

nobody ever schedules good non-con games outside of the blue bloods and whenever MSU gets on ND's schedule

won't keep any B1G blowhards from posting the non-con record as proof of the B1G's dominance, however (1-3 vs SEC in 2021 bowls - never forget)

all but 3-4 B1G ADs are cowards

Nebraska is the ONLY big ten team that gets 2 mid season bye weeks before playing conference opponents

The lengths some people will go to convince themselves they are victims is truly astonishing

Sad to say but history shows us we could use byes before Indiana and Illinois too. Scott’s 2-3 against those teams.

Illinois has 2 byes as well I’m not the one changing the schedule for Nebraska to have 2 byes in that short of time..
Again .. read my post - Nebraska is the only big ten team that plays 2 conference games coming off bye weeks this year.

I highlighted the key words above in order to improve your chances of comprehending

what are you talking about??

The new schedule has us playing 3 games between bye weeks - the prior one only had us only playing 2 games between byes

here's the entire grid, if anyone's so inclined:

Thanks for posting the grid. I kind of like the idea NO team has any November bye weeks.

I haven't looked at future schedules again, but I hope they continue to split Wisconsin and Iowa as one home and one away for us each season rather than both home or both away as it was pre-pandemic. I looked a couple months ago, and I recall it reverting back to both home and both away in a couple years.

If we can’t make a bowl game with that schedule then I will completely give up on life and become an Iowa fan. It will be short lived as I will no doubt die an agonizing death filled with shame and guilt from impure thoughts of farm animals that are customary with being one of those chicken fv@$3r fans.

The SEC is famous for its cupcake non-conference and for only playing 8 conference games.

The Big Ten went 6-3 in the bowls. The SEC went 5-8.

Better go check out the original schedules of all the Big 10 teams about getting byes when the schedule were originally made..

Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin all play each other in November. No bye weeks in November. Looks like the Big Ten West should be decided in November

here is the original schedule -- 2 games for NU between bye weeks -- we now have 3

original 2022 schedule

as I originally stated, Nebraska is the only conference team that gets the benefit of 2 conference games that are preceded by a bye week ... damn this conference to hell for doing this to us!

Should know pretty early on whether we'll be seeing year 6 with Frost or if year 5 is it. This is a very favorable schedule, I think 8-4 or 9-3 is certainly possible.
