should be 7-1 and bowl bound heading into November.
changes impacted every team, not just us. oh, and also, it's the B1G, so, obviously they're going to move mountains to accommodate mole hills. Why couldn’t they just change it around to at Purdue on November 12 and Wisconsin a home game on November 5..
Why the hell did they change the whole schedule around when it wasn’t necessary..![]()
You realize they changed the schedules for all 14 teams right? Scheduling conflicts are bound to happen, could be a concert, or whatever that was in place based on the previous schedule. Not everything is done in the Nebraska vacuumWhy couldn’t they just change it around to at Purdue on November 12 and Wisconsin a home game on November 5..

I'll be at home regardless. As Bill Snyder would say...."Tell me which game you plan on losing and Ill leave ya at home".
Yep, I don't really mind a schedule that is back loaded. This team needs confidence and if it can't build some momentum early Frost is done.should be 7-1 and bowl bound heading into November.
absolutely. and shouldn't be afraid of final 4 games, half of which are against middling/average-at-best programs.should be 7-1 and bowl bound heading into November.
If I learned anything from social media, Frost could lose each game and defecate on fans' lawns and a staggering number of them would still be "happy"Yep, I don't really mind a schedule that is back loaded. This team needs confidence and if it can't build some momentum early Frost is done.
Seems like a pretty good set up for him. Start strong and even split the end of the season and a lot of people will be happy.
Does Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..You realize they changed the schedules for all 14 teams right? Scheduling conflicts are bound to happen, could be a concert, or whatever that was in place based on the previous schedule. Not everything is done in the Nebraska vacuum
we have won zero games following bye weeks during Frost's tenure, so, no, it doesn't matterDoes Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..
You are just setting up the excuses.Does Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..
True but we have a new staff changes too..we have won zero games following bye weeks during Frost's tenure, so, no, it doesn't matter
Said that in jest..You are just setting up the excuses.
edit - and no Michigan is at Rutgers the week before hosting Nebraska.
we've had a bye prior to playing wisconsin 3 years in a row (0-3)True but we have a new staff changes too..
Can’t tell me it isn’t a big deal getting 2 byes before arguably our 2 toughest games..
Man, the BIG 10 really plays no one of of conference next year outside of OSU, PSU and NU. Some pretty sad schedules.here's the entire grid, if anyone's so inclined:

very typical for the B1GMan, the BIG 10 really plays no one of of conference next year outside of OSU, PSU and NU. Some pretty sad schedules.
Nebraska is the ONLY big ten team that gets 2 mid season bye weeks before playing conference opponentsF the B10...is it major? Probably not but this new 'tweak' only hurts us. Bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin was key....also that last 3 games stretch is insanity. Cold weather, tough grinding teams, 2 on the road. I hate the new schedule
Sad to say but history shows us we could use byes before Indiana and Illinois too. Scott’s 2-3 against those teams.Does Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..
Wrong Nw has 2 bye weeks also because of the game in Ireland..Nebraska is the ONLY big ten team that gets 2 mid season bye weeks before playing conference opponents
The lengths some people will go to convince themselves they are victims is truly astonishing
They’d have souvenirsIf I learned anything from social media, Frost could lose each game and defecate on fans' lawns and a staggering number of them would still be "happy"![]()
Read my post … I didn’t say we were the only team with 2 bye weeksWrong Nw has 2 bye weeks also because of the game in Ireland..
What ever.. I’m still going by common sense..Sad to say but history shows us we could use byes before Indiana and Illinois too. Scott’s 2-3 against those teams.
Illinois has 2 byes as well I’m not the one changing the schedule for Nebraska to have 2 byes in that short of time..Read my post … I didn’t say we were the only team with 2 bye weeks
Again .. read my post - Nebraska is the only big ten team that plays 2 conference games coming off bye weeks this year.Illinois has 2 byes as well I’m not the one changing the schedule for Nebraska to have 2 byes in that short of time..
We're brutal after bye weeksDoes Michigan now get a bye week before playing us ? Nebraska had bye weeks before Michigan and Wisconsin that’s a pretty big deal wouldn’t you say over bye weeks now before Indiana and Illinois..
Illinois has 2 byes as well I’m not the one changing the schedule for Nebraska to have 2 byes in that short of time..
Thanks for posting the grid. I kind of like the idea NO team has any November bye weeks.here's the entire grid, if anyone's so inclined:

The SEC is famous for its cupcake non-conference and for only playing 8 conference games.very typical for the B1G
nobody ever schedules good non-con games outside of the blue bloods and whenever MSU gets on ND's schedule
won't keep any B1G blowhards from posting the non-con record as proof of the B1G's dominance, however (1-3 vs SEC in 2021 bowls - never forget)
all but 3-4 B1G ADs are cowards
Silly post. Two teams in the final game of the year. The SEC is famous for its cupcake non-conference and for only playing 8 conference games.
The Big Ten went 6-3 in the bowls. The SEC went 5-8.
what are you talking about??
The new schedule has us playing 3 games between bye weeks - the prior one only had us only playing 2 games between byes
Better go check out the original schedules of all the Big 10 teams about getting byes when the schedule were originally made..
