I canceled my Flo membership in favor of Rokfin. Hoping to purchase only the Scuffle or a one month subscription.

I am pretty sure Flo does not offer monthly wrestling subs, though some people have mentioned other sports do and they still get wrestling, I am not sure if that is accurate.
there is also the possible option of using a prepaid card with limited funds to pay the annual sub that is billed monthly, then letting the funds run out…
Highly doubtful of any of the regulars.. I suspect you may see some our 125s and 157s who have had a start or two there.
A couple weeks ago in media interview, Casey said as many as 9 guys may go to the Scuffle. If I remember correctly, he only specific named one - Facundo
Yes, he mentioned Facundo. Wasn't sure on Van Ness. Said that we could expect to see entries at 25 and 57. Obviously others possible as well.

The Penn State coach was to speak at 11. But, instead, it's Casey Cunningham. Cael is in a meeting. Updates to follow.
Also, just went and looked. They've released entry info on Dec. 27 in past years. So, perhaps we'll see an update today.

This could be a fun Scuffle. Might see Seth take on AJ, we will see how Facundo stacks up against some of the best at the weight (Griffith, O'Toole, Weber, and Ramirez are registered), we could have back-ups contending for the titles at 197 and HWT (Nevills is likely very rusty), and we might get some more clarity at 125 and 157. It's interesting that Negron isn't entered at 157. I suppose that means he's won the spot outright over Lee and Bearclaw.
Nice to see so many guys going. Should be fun to see how these guys compete.. Looking forward, in particular, to see how Steen, Facundo, and Beard do who all could be future starters.
You could be right but I suspect a final decision is yet to be made.
I like the way Negron wrestles and maybe he'll be the guy at the start of 2022, but the bottom is that we are now 0-8 in duals at 157. We need to find someone who can win matches, keeping it close doesn't score points.
Don t disagree w your premise. But Tony wasn t trying to keep it close . He was the aggressor v Teemer and Humphreys. Refs were good too.
He needs to work on driving through and finishing on TDs. Gets his head down a bit. But he ll get there. On top need to see more . Is strong tough and has leverage / length, that I know.
I think he can ride guys . Would love to se him tilt/ turn guys - I think that will come imo . Legs in to ride and turn ? Cradle a potential weapon too. He can get out from bottom .
Wrestling mostly FS last couple years at Wolfpack RTC w Tariq Wilson , Tommy Gannt , Older Jack , Scott etc . Therefore, mat game lil rusty but has all the tools. Most importantly has the teaching / coaching and training partners he needs now. He s a work in progress but I don t think we have seen 1/2 of it yet!

He was wearing a heavy brace on his knee at the Clarion Open and MDEF from the quarters.

Why isn't the team going to this? The Scuffle was the big tournament PSU went to every year. Now only backups? Is it an issue with the number of competition dates? Fear of Covid knocking out the starters?
I think they viewed the College Duals as their holiday tournament. Perhaps if they didn't go to that tournament , they might've gone to the Scuffle.
I believe the reason is the Big Ten schedule starts too close to the scuffle.
Had discussion with Casey about this over the summer. There is no single factor. They take a holistic approach trying to balance the quality of events, time between events to work on areas of improvement exposed during outside competition, staying healthy, travel needed, holidays and school calendar, and Big Ten season.
Anyone figure out if you can subscribe to underwater rock grappling or any other of their many sports(?) for a monthly fee AND get wrestling? Asking for a friend…
