I love when players leave the portal and return to their original team. That’s proof that the money wire transfers portion of the banking system still works.
so looks like Minny will have at least 2 of our WRs. CD and DC. I guess we will play them which will be interesting. have to believe we are going to see at least 3-4 more from the current pool.
we have two more years of the COVID years nonsense, and that will help reduce the numbers. certainly getting harder for HS players to get scholarships.
This is just going to average out. A whole bunch of pretty good football players leaving their teams to play for other teams that lost an equivalent amount of pretty good football players.
Why wait so long? One would think he’d have a hard time finding a team at this late date. School’s starting all over. (Reply to Midnighter.)
I think conversations have been going on with those deep on the chart since the bowl game about future role. Takes a while to work through everyone. Think we need to process 10 or so before August. Being realistic with some of these guys, moving on might be the only was for them to get playing time. I don’t think they are telling players to leave. More likely they are telling them where they stand and then letting them decide. Will continue until they get the number they need.
PSU wanted him, and thought they had a good chance during and after his recent visit. There were some issues with his academics, and his brother was committed to Colorado, which did raise some questions.
Yup, they kick in upon completion of Year 2, and Michel has been (or will be) there for four.
