Nolan Smith has been the early star of the Eagles camp and has been unblockable in the Eagles first couple of practices. In the first practice against the second unit, Smith was beating Jack Driscoll off the snap on every play recording multiple pressures and forcing a fumble against Mariota. Today against the first unit, Smith beats Lane Johnson out the gate for a sack on Jalen Hurts. Both rookies Nolan Smith and Jalen Carter have stood out and should be major contributors this season.

While i'm excited about the young cats, let's cage our excitement a little. Early camp has always notoriously favored the DL. I want to see what happens when Lane or Lando or Mailata get their pads on and can get their paws on these guys. I'm MUCH more excited about what i'm hearing about Davis. All reports are he's reformed his body and is in great shape. been playing a lot of 4 down fronts. but lord, I do hope that Carter and Smith light it up.....

IMO Cam looks way smaller than Lane in this picture, he does not look 6'3" here, more like 6'0". it could be the camera angle though. just saying.

We are at Cape May, NJ beach and Merrill Reese does the beach announcements re: beach tags, lifeguards, swimming etc. surprised I didn’t hear any E-A-G-L-E-S chants!

Let’s see him do it for more than one year. I have my doubts but maybe he will prove me wrong. Mahomes, Allen, Jackson, & Burrow have multiple great years.
