Nice to see the kid have a successful 1st MLB appearance. If I recall correctly, the 1st batter grounded out to 1st, and the next 2 batters struck out. He's got an excellent slider, and a nice fastball. It's no wonder he's rocketed up through the minors this year.

Close… Narvaez grounded out to third, then Baty and Ortega struck out. Very cool to see him make his pitching debut in front of his family.

It was a late night/early morning in Berlin, and now it’s lunch in Dresden, but it’s now time to celebrate! Let’s have another October run but this one ends on Broad St!

Loved the Castellanos clip. I don't know who the reporter was but he mentioned last year and asked the generic, "What did you learn??" Instead of the usual canned answer, Nick replied with, "About what??" He obviously considered the question and was prepared to give a thoughtful reply but he didn't exactly know what the reporter was getting at. I don't know why but it made me chuckle.

help me out. Are the Phillies locked into the first WC? And is that their best position or would a lower seed somehow help them ? Tia

Where's Rojas tonight? Why does the manager keep giving starts to Cave? He's terrible. Please tell me Rob won't do this in the post-season.

I think because he is going to start every postseason game. Cave will not.

Oh and by the way, Angel Hernandez needs to be beaten by a baseball bat. Cave is odd man out once Rhys is activated.
