I agree, thought at least a #4 seed…..especially with the strong finish and upsetting Wiscy.

They gave Purdue a lot of credit for beating PSU twice.

I was hoping for a #4 seed so they would get the first round at home but that didn't work out. On the selection show, they said Penn State was in the discussion with Florida and Georgia Tech for a #4 seed but losing head-to-head to both of those teams this year knocked them down.

Any upsets yet?

a few. The NCAA doesn't put names/directions on their bracket, so I'm not sure which is the "East," the "West," etc. They seed 1 thru 8 in each of the four brackets.

In the bracket where Nebraska is the #1 seed, Baylor upset #7 seed James Madison, 3-0.

In the bracket where Pitt is the #1 seed, Western Michigan upset #7 seed Auburn, 3-0

In the bracket where Stanford is the #1 seed, no upsets

In the bracket where Wisconsin is the #1 seed (where PSU is also), Hawaii upset #7 seed Iowa St., 3-1, and Miami upset #8 seed UNI, 3-1.

PSU was up by 3 late in the set (I think it was 23-20; might have been 22-19), but almost let it slip away. A great battle by both teams at the end.

Our girls unsuccessfully keep trying to drop balls in instead of spiking the ball. Wisconsin's spacing is on point. Hopefully we adjust and just drive it home.
