Other than Link, Keyes, and perhaps a QB, are we looking at anybody else? Class seems *almost* full. Bunch of Florida DTs will be announcing soon. No CBs favor us, yet.

DE Jalen Thompson, DT Will Norman, OL Stanton Ramil and WR Carmelo Taylor are all still in play. They’re genuinely in the mix with all four of those guys.
LeBlanc is headed to Oklahoma. The numbers project for like 23 commits, but if there are top players still available, they’ll find space for 24 and 25. Just depends on who’s available.

I've read he's a UK lean right now. I don't know if he's a take for us yet. Canceled his Texas A&M visit. Auburn is in the mix too, but I think they see him as a DT.
too bad we took his word and stopped recruiting another QB. not sure how many are still available that could fit. any great walk-on QBs in the PA region (i.e. a Matt McGloin)?

I think that would be correct. I think the BWI folks were suggesting many portal guys do not want to transfer to be in a fight for backup. That is probably the case for a jr/sr type QB. Maybe a younger portal guy could be interested, to come in and compete with our 2 FR and Soph QB. Otherwise it is flip someone who is a 2023 commit somewhere else or find someone from those still on the board. The walk-on QB who was moved to WR actually looks like a pretty solid player in the pinch could be moved back I guess. that doesn't help 2023 though. late decommits really hurt in a position like QB.
All my years of following PSU recruiting, and I don't recall a recruit with a mom with this level of involvement in football.

Saw a report on them the other day on channel 6 news. Great story.All my years of following PSU recruiting, and I don't recall a recruit with a mom with this level of involvement in football.

Yep, and the soph QB has freshman eligibility, so we really have 3 freshmen QB’s, with 1 of them the #1 in his class and Veilleux already looking very good in limited action. Not an attractive situation for recruiting a good transfer QB. And adding a transfer would discourage the 3 young QB’s. I don’t see it happening. I believe it’s more likely that if there is no 2023 QB that PSU goes with 3 scholarship QB’s in 2023 and gets 2 in 2024.

This kid just loves to commit. First Rutgers, then us and now possibly on to Georgia. If hears from the Toronto Argonauts next he’s probably on his way to the CFL.
I know I’m a homer, but that list is a no brainer for the kid.
Wonder if the staff would take both Jalen Thompson, a DE (?) and Gooden ............

Maybe the R on the visor explains why Rutgers has problems on the field. How can they see through that?
