Even Coach K gave them kudos when he lost his @$$ up there when we were moving toward the Final Four.Greenville has done a tremendous job with their handling of tournament games and the feedback from coaches and fans has been extremely positive.

I'm never writing UConn off as long as Geno is running that program. I doubt their injuries will still be a factor by the time we aynthem in February.Sunday morning thoughts and musings
Way to go Kamilla Cardoso
We are six deep at the 4&5. That’s 30 fouls.
Again we should lead nation in Rebound Margin, blocked shots, and % of offensive rebounds on missed shots.
Teams with a realistic shot at a final four berth.
Gamecocks, Stanford, UConn, Texas, Tennessee, Louisville.
Wouldn’t be shocked Iowa St., ND, UNC
Darkhorses Va. Tech, Ind
Our game vs UCONN
10-15 point victory at their place. Without Bueckers they have no go to threat that scares us. Our bigs are better, stronger, and deeper. They will struggle to score. Who really knows what their roster will look like? Fudd, Juhasz, Griffin, and Ducharme are all still rehabbing surgeries and NONE HAS BEEN CLEARED FOR PRACTICE YET

While losing Paige is a huge blow, in some ways it's a silver lining for the rest of the team. They were way too reliant on her and now this will force everyone else to raise their game. I think our frontcourt is likely the best in the country and will be a problem for them but their backcourt could be a issue. Ducharme has shown the ability to takeover in Paige's absence last year and Fudd still hasn't shown us yet what she was hyped up to be. I still think we can beat them, but I'm not sure it will be a double digit win in Storrs.
It's still way too early to tell. I doubt that when Feb. 5th comes that team will look anything like it did last year and they will have extra incentive to beat us. Either their team will step up to challenge or this will be a really bad year for that program.Without Bueckers UCONN has no one that can get their own shot against our D. Ducharme May be their best player as of now but Beal will take care of that.
Right now UCONN Is probably an elite 8, final four team. We are just a bad matchup for them. Double digits

That would be a dream class!!Fulwiley and Del Rosario are the two I want and would love to round that out with Watkins and Kitts. A 2 guard & 2 forward class to replace all that we're likely losing next season.
Absolutely, it would be a redo of the 2019 class and I think that class did ok.That would be a dream class!!
Tenn is convinced they have Del Rosario so I would love to prove them wrong!Fulwiley and Del Rosario are the two I want and would love to round that out with Watkins and Kitts. A 2 guard & 2 forward class to replace all that we're likely losing next season.
UT fans are always convinced that they are getting whoever they want. How many times did we hear Watkins and Cooper were locks last year?Tenn is convinced they have Del Rosario so I would love to prove them wrong!
Look at taters record over the last 20 years, that will remove the mysteryI'm guessing with Blanca Thomas, it will come down to us and UNC, maybe NCSU...I'm shocked Clemson is not in her top 10 as her parents are huge Clemson fans...
I bet they love their daughter more than CU.I'm guessing with Blanca Thomas, it will come down to us and UNC, maybe NCSU...I'm shocked Clemson is not in her top 10 as her parents are huge Clemson fans...
I guessing UNC is out. Teonni Key is a Fr and they have 2 Fr posts coming in next year. Crowded depth chartI'm guessing with Blanca Thomas, it will come down to us and UNC, maybe NCSU...I'm shocked Clemson is not in her top 10 as her parents are huge Clemson fans...
Young people have forever talked in slang/code so as to leave old farts (me and you) clueless.I'm still trying to translate all the hashtags, emojis, and slang on Twitter. I have no effin clue how to read these recruits' feeds, lol.
I'm not sure, but I believe she has offers from both UGA and UNC, so I would try those two and perhaps A&M. I'll guess LSU as well because I believe she's good friends with Flau'jae who's an incoming freshman. What teams besides us do y’all think will make the cut?
Love your analysis and updates. Keep them coming.SEC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP
IMO will be a two team race between us and UT.
LSU is a clear pick at #3. They are a top 15 team but just do not have the depth of talent as the other two
We are returning national champs with the reigning NPOY. We return 4 starters and a fifth who started 4 years at Ga Tech. We return 5 seasoned bench players who all would start at over 95% of the 368 division I schools. We add Watkins and Cooper. It is without doubt the best roster in the country
UT was a sweet 16 team that was beset with injuries. Marta Suarez was slated to start but missed the whole season. Horston, Burrell, and Green, all starters missed extended periods. They had clear deficiencies last year; way too many turnovers, short bench that was slow footed, Key was an excellent interior defender but was foul prone and a liability more than 6 feet from the basket and she was their only true big.
Quite honestly they won the portal hands down!! 4 transfers, 3 who averaged 11ppg or better. The fourth was a Fr who was a 5* recruit and played a major role on her team. They added 5* recruit 6’4” wing Justine Pissott.
Though not as talented as us they are 12 deep with 9 players 6’1” or better.
Projected starting lineup
C 6’6” Tamari Key
PF 6’1” Jasmine Franklin
SF 6’1” Rickea Jackson
SG 6’2” Jordan Horston
PG 5’6” Jasmine Powell
All averaged double points. Jackson and Horston while volume shooters can put up 20-25 on a good night. Powell is the best pg they have had in almost a decade.
This is a lineup that presents some real difficulties for us. Franklin is Rebound machine. They should be able to stay with us on the boards. Beal can guard Jackson or Horston but not both both. That leaves Cooke with a distinct size disadvantage against an excellent offensive player.
If we get Key in foul trouble they now have 6’5” Jillian Hollingshead as backup not an undersized forward. Walker, Miles, Puckett, Suarez, and Darby are all subs who can make solid contributions off the bench, especially Walker who started every game last year. Pissott is the first 5* Harper has signed and looks to be the real deal..
They still will be turnover prone and their D while long is not as good as ours. The game is at their place and should be a boisterous sellout.
My guess is the game will be scheduled for the last week of the regular season.
I'm glad she was able to narrow it down.
Im interested to see how Rickea fits in to that program....ive read two different versions about her departure and both make good points.SEC REGULAR SEASON CHAMPIONSHIP
