todayThis would be the perfect game for Rob Thomsen to pull an Aaron Booone and get run in spectacular fashion. Home plate umpire opening the door for him. Someone needs to show some fire other than the hitting coach. You can't let the hitting coach get tossed without an on-field blow-up.
The Indi.., er, Guardians just look a better and more complete team. Their defense didn't look like they're just now learning how to play the game. They can bunt successfully. I doubt their fans get nervous when the bullpen needs to nail down a close game. Tonight's game was hot garbage.
And none of them named Wheeler. He can wait for the playoffs and then throw two I suppose.
Surprised they gave him No.9 since he doesn't spell his name like Von HayEs.
Just keep Miller, Crawford, Painter and Caba and it will be a great job. The farm system has a lot of high end talent scattered around every level right now.
