I think beating the Mets will be a little tougher this time around. I see a split in a best case scenario, a 3-1 most likely outcome. I will be at the game on Friday.

Phils with 32 strikeouts in the past two games, and Severino strikes out the side in the first inning. This is not a good trend.

It makes me wonder how focused the offense is when they know the starting pitcher is going to put them in a huge hole early. Thanks for nothing Walker. The guy has been garbage lately but they keep putting him out there.

I was at the game last Saturday and Severino was dominating the Phils. The only chance the Phils had was when the Mets, inexplicably, took him out.

Agree that he isn't very good, but who are you going to start in his place? Mercado? He didn't fare much better.

Dude has a career high in WHIP (1.67 to 1.54 in 2018) and OBA (opponents batting average: .379 to .357 in 2018)... why Topper continues to put him out there is beyond me. as someone said earlier, him pitching is conceding the game. his relief of Allard was a complete outlier compared to everything else he's done this year. been bad all year. last year the last half of the season he was bad as well. second quarter he looked really good, first quarter was hit or miss. dude just hasn't put it all together....

Phils gotta take, at least, 2 out of the last 3 games vs the Mets. That would clinch the division, and take some pressure off.

Walker should definitely miss his last start. Maybe start Allard for a couple of innings, and then use the pen.

Not a good start for Sanchez, down 0-1 runners on 2nd and 3rd and NObody out...

Is Wilson really in the plans for the post-season? I equate his cycle with the Lorenzen no hitter last year. Both were anomalies.

The Phillies are about middle of the pack (a little better than ave) in Ks. Pretty close to the Yankees and Dodgers. They are 4th in OPS.

The are also winning 8-2 right now. Is it ok to make positive Phils posts around here?
