As I mentioned earlier this week, Wisky is a really good team. It should be an interesting matchup. And it appears that NBC is broadcasting the game.

And if they play like last night, it will be a short match. Serve recieve and Passing were problems last night

Wisky is hitting .480-something as a team through 2 sets. Other than Wisky's size, I think the biggest difference so far has been the 1st touch by Wisky. They are, for the most part, bumping it perfectly to their setter, while PSU is too often scrambling, with either the ball not getting to Izzy, or it getting to her in a manner that she's having a tough time generating a good set. Mruzik, as has been the case in some recent matches, is really off to start the match, with 15 hitting errors. Too often, she's being set on the left side into a double block.

Wisky wins set 3, 25-13, and the match, 3-0. Just total domination by Wisconsin. I worried about this matchup, but didn't expect a totally lopsided match. Wisky hit .465 for the match. PSU, by comparison, hit .117.

I thought PSU might drop more than 1 spot after the loss to Wisconsin. FWIW, Wisky moved up to #6.

i don’t know how to feel about this team. One part of me feels this is the best team we have had in years. The two matches against Pitt and Wisconsin have me conflicted. We got utterly humiliated by both teams. They are the only two national title contenders that we have played(Lville ain’t one) so the outcome is worrying. They were both on the road so I guess we can use that as an excuse idk. The next time they get in similar situation I would like to see some fight and adjustments instead of laying down. I would even try to bring in the younger players just to see if that would stop the bleeding. Also, the libero play has been bad in both matches and the height of Wisconsin just killed us.

On one hand 23-2 is 23-2. It's difficult to take that away from them.

On the other hand this team has struggled in a few of those matches including being down 0-2 and having to win 3 straight games. Teams like Pittsburgh and Nebraska have been more convincing in their wins. I think PSU is properly ranked between 4th and 6th.

I hope I'm wrong. Just keep winning and hopefully beat Nebraska to prove me wrong.

You may 'want' anything at all, but you are just a fan and not the coach who is facing a monumental health crisis. I do not know how to criticize two losses against 23 wins -- is it possible for you to be positive and support all of the team, all of the team for the rest of the season?
Give it a try and keep all of your posts on a positive note !!
