One CFP game is on 12/31, OSU - Miami , 7:30pm. I don't think any other bowl games are on 12/1. CFP games would be the preferred viewing.

IIRC, Illinois was in “dark horse for playoffs” conversations in August.

That said, there are some really impressive estates /neighborhoods overlooking the Tennessee River and the HGTV Overlook Park (an accidental discovery by me) is impressive.
